Welcome to Support Tiffany!

Tiffany Tiplady is 35 years old and married to Darren with 3 children Joshua (5 yrs) Nathaniel(4 yrs) and Grace (10 mths). The family lives in Taupo, New Zealand. Tiffany is the daughter of Tony and Diana Halloran and sister to Amanda, Lisa, Gina and Jennifer. “We were all shocked in September by the news that Tiffany may have cancer as she is a particularily heathy and vibrant young woman. An opperation on September 23rd showed the extent of her cancer and all the large tumors were removed (including ovaries, uterus, appendix, and part of the bowel). Further tests revealed that this cancer was signet ring cell adenocarcinoma of the appendix, which is a particularly aggressive cancer that will be terminal left untreated. For those of us that know Tiffany and Darren it was no suprise that very quickly after the blow of this news, Tiffany’s beautiful and fighting spirit came to the fore: she and Daren are remarkable in their faith and trust in God. They see this time as opportunity for their lives to flourish in a way it never would had this not occurred.Needless to say Tiffany is determined to recover fully from this cancer and she and Darren will take whatever treatment is necessary. Because this cancer is so rare there is no treatment in New Zealand and it will be necessary to seek overseas surgery”

This is the story of a brave young lady’s real-life fight for survival against a seriously aggresive form of cancer ! Please follow Tiffany’s progress by clicking on a link (right hand column marked “Blogroll” of blog) , and then return here to make a donation if you possibly can! Her road to recovery is a long one, and funding for the fight ahead is paramount for the timing of medical care she will need to overcome this life threatening disease. What would you do if it were one of your family ?Please help us, to help her . . . . . Tiffany’s life depends on it! Thankyou! (Your comments & prayers are most welcome)

  4. Merrin,
Thanks for your kind wishes – Tiff’s doing well at present as you can see from her “Latest Updates” link.
Don’t stop those prayers yet though, we’ve still got a long way to go!

  5. My best hopes and prayers are with you. My family found out this morning that my daughter has this type of cancer as well. she has no insurance, but there is a doctor that has agreed to do surgury on her. I ask for prayers for all of us that we can be strong and accept what Gods will is. She is 29 years old and has had a hard life. I have no one else to talk to right now, so I wanted to share with others that are going through this, and hope we can all keep our spirits up , whatever comes our way. thank you

  6. Anne,
My thoughts and prayers go to you and your Daughter, hopefully a cure will be found for this awful disease soon, and an end will come to those who are suffering.

    Love and prayers,
    Steve

  7. Tiff & Family,

You are in my prayers. I hope things are going well on your end. My father has signet ring cell carcinoma in the colon and has been told he will leave 2 years at most. Our faith and God gives us the strength to find the way to beat this and I pray that your strength to will grant you a cure.

    Jenn
